End Date

Timezone

Developed in the 70’s by Osteopath/Martial Arts Master Arthur Pauls, Ortho-Bionomy is now taught and practised worldwide. Dr Pauls found that by working in the direction of ease, and away from pain and resistance, honoured the body’s inherent wisdom and consistently restored a more natural state of balance, alignment, and well-being.

This foundation class over three days, rather than two, will allow more depth and time for learning. Specific positioning techniques to stimulate natural self-correcting neuro-muscular reflexes for all joints of the body will be taught. These gentle techniques facilitate the release of pain and tension patterns, promote expanded range of motion, and offer a greater sense of well-being. Techniques will be taught as follows: 13th & 14th March: Neck, Full Spine, Sacrum, Psoas, Ilium, Shoulder, Clavicle, Ribs, Sternum, Scapula. 15th March: Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Femur, Knee, Ankle, Foot.

Trauma Resolution with Bruce Stark - Adelaide

Accessing the Resources for Integration There are many ways in which the physiological and emotional components of unresolved trauma can remain held within the body's tissues and nervous system. For some people there is an unsettling in their body which isn't able to access the usual easing and calming responses that we would experience in a session. Sometimes the resources of the body to address trauma aren't available resulting in an exaggeration of the symptoms or distress.
