Ethics and Emotional Issues on-line Study Group with Instructor Karen Sonter
e
In this 3-hour on-line event participants will learn and explore skills for meeting emotional responses that may arise within themselves, or their client, during a session. We'll discuss how to meet this dynamic in an ethical and supportive manner.
In addition, we'll discuss the guidelines for professional conduct, how the principles of Ortho-Bionomy can support these, and review Ortho-Bionomy Australia's Code of Ethics.
We'll use some role play, discussion and exploration of the ways we can navigate ethical processes.
The total (3) hour attendance will gain students, in the Ortho-Bionomy Australia training programs, credit as a study group, equalling (3) training credits in the Practitioner Training Program.
Attendance will also fulfil the alternative Ethics and Emotional Issues (E and E) component for students looking to
volve to Associate Practitioner status, allowing them to then receive the benefits that level of membership provides.
No pre-requisites are required, and therapists skilled in all modalities are welcome.
The content will provide valuable learning experience, and tools, for therapists from all backgrounds.
Cost is $80.
Participants will require a reliable internet connection, video and audio connection to join the study group, via Zoom.

Trauma Resolution with Bruce Stark - Adelaide
Accessing the Resources for Integration There are many ways in which the physiological and emotional components of unresolved trauma can remain held within the body's tissues and nervous system. For some people there is an unsettling in their body which isn't able to access the usual easing and calming responses that we would experience in a session. Sometimes the resources of the body to address trauma aren't available resulting in an exaggeration of the symptoms or distress. See More |
