Trauma Resolution with Bruce Stark - Adelaide
Accessing the Resources for Integration
There are many ways in which the physiological and emotional components of unresolved trauma can remain held within the body's tissues and nervous system. For some people, there is an unsettling in their body which isn't able to access the usual easing and calming responses that we would experience in a session. Sometimes the resources of the body to address trauma aren't available resulting in an exaggeration of the symptoms or distress.
In the Trauma Resolution course we look at ways to work with the body when the usual self-regulation capacity is impaired. By tracking our client's nervous system and connecting through the different Phases we can monitor the quality, presence or absence of the client's self-correction. Through sensing, contact, interaction and presence, we will explore ways to support and facilitate the client's nervous system to respond, resolve and integrate these traumatic patterns.
Using the biological and polyvagal trauma models, we will:
- Identify the signs of unresolved trauma
- Explore techniques and processes for accessing self-corrective responsiveness
- Facilitate more functional patterns
- Deepen our own sensing capacity
By working in a relationally-focused way, we can facilitate greater resolution of held trauma patterns and help re-establish a fuller experience of well-being.

Ortho-Bionomy Phase 6 with Advanced Instructor Luann Overmyer in Hervey Bay, Qld
This class presents release techniques that monitor and acknowledge the capacity of the person to energetically shift their patterns to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being. Participants develop sensitivity and learn to recognize and observe the emotional and energetic shifts that occur as a result of the Ortho-Bionomy movements that are experienced. Participants learn the value of "not doing" as the practitioner steps back and allow the client's self-healing capacities to engage See More |
