Posture Re-education & Post Techniques in Melbourne

Learn how to apply gentle rehabilitative movements and positioning to support clients to release old posture habits and create new, more functional postures and movements.
In this class we learn to assess and address clients' inefficient postural habits to support short-term pain reduction and long-term change. We'll look at common postural conditions including spinal curvatures and scoliosis and learn how to address them with positional release and movement techniques. We'll explore 'post' techniques to support and integrate the tension relief work done in a session and integrate new posture patterns.
Dates: 27-28 June 2026, 9am-5.30pm each day
Location: Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre, Melbourne
Eligibility: Students who have attended at least 1 Fundamentals class and current bodywork therapists of any modality
Fee: $400 Early Bird, $450 after 12th June 2026

- Detailed manual covering all concepts & techniques
- Certificate for 16hrs/units of training in OBA's programs plus CE points for OBA membership & other professional associations - ANTA, massage, nurses, physiotherapists, somatic therapists & more
