Isometric and isotonic techniques for working with inefficient muscular tension patterns as well as underdeveloped muscle tone are presented and practiced, including related anatomy.
Through the use of gently restraining movement, while the client engages the muscle, self-correcting reflexes are stimulated and habitual holding patterns can be released.
Participants learn how the conscious use of obstacles can help promote change from rigid physical and emotional patterns, towards greater mobility and allow the client to actively participate in the session.
Phase 4/Fundamentals class is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite for attending this class.

Trauma Resolution with Bruce Stark - Adelaide

Accessing the Resources for Integration There are many ways in which the physiological and emotional components of unresolved trauma can remain held within the body's tissues and nervous system. For some people there is an unsettling in their body which isn't able to access the usual easing and calming responses that we would experience in a session. Sometimes the resources of the body to address trauma aren't available resulting in an exaggeration of the symptoms or distress.
