A weekend of Study Groups with Instructor Karen Sonter
Over the two days of learning four 3-hour Ortho-Bionomy study groups, each with a particular focus, are offered, wherein we explore an area of the body more expansively than in a class.
Throughout the weekend, students will also have the chance to review techniques, receive clarification about the application and principles of Ortho-Bionomy and to gain insight about specific client cases or situations that concern them.
This can provide expanded levels of understanding, techniques and information for experienced students.
Each 3-hour session, below, will be credited as (1) completed study group in the Ortho-Bionomy training programs.

How the Principles of Ortho-Bionomy can support success in everyday life.
On 18/3/23, 1.30 pm till 5 pm:
Expanding on ways to work with the pelvis
On 19/3/23, 9 am till 12.30 pm:
Expanding on ways to work with the shoulder
On 19/3/23, 1.30 pm till 5 pm:
An overview of the Ortho-Bionomy phases, case studies and revision of techniques
Please note these study groups are presented in such a way as to be suitable for new students as well.

Exploration of Movement Patterns with Instructor Karen Sonter
Using the principles of Ortho-Bionomy learn how to explore and support the body's preferred patterns of movement, or stillness. In this way the client is invited to actively participate and recognize their own patterns, stimulating self-correction, releasing structural imbalances through gentle deliberate movement. This class is a perfect Ortho-Bionomy introductory class OR will provide expanded ways of working for current students of Ortho-Bionomy. See More |
