Exploration of Movement Patterns
Exploration of Movement Patterns adds a dynamic dimension to the positional release techniques.
In this experiential training we'll be exploring how the recognition of movement patterns can allow us to reduce unnecessary tension, facilitate an increased range of motion and integrate the changes we have made. It's through movement that we feel and know ourselves. When we are moving well, we have much more information available to us and are less likely to injure ourselves. It is through movement that our body recognises change and is able to adapt to the different forces that are acting upon it as we make our way through the day.
Bringing awareness to our movement through following the principles of Ortho-Bionomy, allows us to be an active participant in our recovery or maintaining a general sense of well-being.
