Exploration of Movement
Ortho-Bionomy: Exploration of Movement Patterns
Our bodies sense and experience themselves through movement. In the Exploration of Movement course, we use movement as a release mechanism, in conjunction with the positional release techniques of Phase Four.
We will use movement in the body for:
- Assessing of imbalances (and reassessment of change)
- Releasing restrictions
- Dynamically integrating change
- Signalling functional pattern awareness for your client
- Creating flow and a sense of connectedness in a session
These techniques uniquely engage and re-educate the nervous system to increase range of movement, sensory awareness and freedom from pain, and form an excellent bridge from the physical (Phase 4) to the energetic (Phase 5 & 6) work of Ortho-Bionomy.
